Respected for his soulful approach to his brand of rocking blues, Paul Cox has built up a reputation as one of Britain’s finest Blues/Soul Singers.

With accolades from many of his peers and critics alike, with his enthusiastic approach to performing, he has built up a reputation as producing one of the most enjoyable nights out around.

Having started off in the West Midlands he moved to London in 1981 and has since worked or recorded with the likes of Ray Charles, Eric Clapton, Paul Rodgers, Gary Brooker, Snowy White, Sam brown, and Bonnie Tyler. He’s also fronted several bands including Frankie Millers Full House, John Slaughters Blues Band, Tim Hincley’s Heart and Soul as well as his own Bands, Soul Intention, The Paul Cox Band, and Fire and Water.

With 3 CD releases on Note-Music under his belt and 2 with John Slaughter on Timeless Records, he has performed all over the world to enthusiastic audiences at such festivals as Montreux, Balve, and New Morning Jazz in Switzerland, as well as Festivals in Italy, France and Holland.

Paul has sung in films as well as appearing on UK TV and all across Europe, and Paul Jones of Radio 2 fame cites him as one of his favorite voices.

Paul played at Blues on the Farm, in 2001 and again in 2002 putting on a standout performance, which received high praise in "Blues Matters". Described as the "heir apparent to Chris Farlowe" and "The Pavorotti of British Blues" Paul and his band will this time be appearing with French guitar sensation Charlie Fabert at this year’s Blues on the Farm festival.

Charlie Fabert

21 year-old French Blues & Soul prodigy Charlie Fabert is considered one of the most gifted guitarists of his generation.

Charlie is an exceptional guitarist who has opened for the likes of ‘Ten Years After’ and ‘The Christians’ and played at the Sziget Festival (Hungary) - the biggest festival in Europe – and his performances in France have included some of the best known blues festivals on the scene. Charlie has just recorded an album ‘Lookin’ Up For Light’ with the Scottish Singer Kate Cassidy featuring the American guitarist Tom Principato.

Charlie has toured with many bands and musicians, including several UK dates with English singer Sally Strawberry, and during 2010 he is touring widely across The UK and France with Paul Cox.

So don’t miss the chance to see Charlie Fabert live – “The next big thing in blues” FR3 Channel, France.
